Bill,

I'm really not following your questions. Sorry they aren't making sense to me.

99% of the sIDEs go out of C-9 with the same configuration. This is a baseline configuration and has everything you need to make your own custom boot if so desired.

With that said, I would image the CF first, get another CF and play with it. You are in advanced kernel and partition management.

Have you read HDB-DOS, SuperDriver manuals? Then read again and again...

So for the CF you are not using...not sure why but....It is set to boot from a LBA master at some offset. Sake of getting it wrong here, it was in the documentation that came with the sIDE. HDB-DOS is top down, NitrOS-9 is bottoms up with a small partition in the middle that is unused in the memory allocation.......

If you don't understand any of this then you better, stop and read the manuals.

OK, Now I am totally confused.  Are you saying that with it set for
Bank 2 it points at the CF card (which I am not useing!)

And Bank 3 has HDB-DOS in it.  But don't I need the one the install
software built in order to access my hard disk?  The one in the Flash
won't know about my offset or number od floppies or anything. right?

I just tried loading that into bank 0 but it didn't work.  Doesn't
seem to see Flash.  ERASE.BAS didn't work either, same result.  I
am going to try reading the docs one more time and then try again.
