[Coco] Another interesting problem

I have a Coco2, 26-3127B that will not run HDBDos for the Coco2. It will
ONLY run HDBDos for the Coco1. 

 

I load up HDBDos for the Coco2 and when I do a DIR, it either locks up, goes
into a loop, showing the HDBDos screen over and over, or it splashes
"garbage" all over the screen.

 

Everything is soldered in place, so I cannot replace chips, except for the
one under the keyboard, and it is securely in place.

 

But it runs HDBDos for Coco1 beautifully.

 

Ideas?
