I've started a blog about my exploits in interfacing the Arduino to the CoCo:http://arduinococo.blogspot.com

More posts coming shortly.

Hmm... interesting. The DriveWire server plugs into the cartridge port. If the Arduino can be programmed to give the CoCo direct access to the SD card slot (drive emulation?) as well as DriveWire that would prove most convenient! Would even be nicer is access to the Ethernet port and serial port can be handled, but that might be too much with DriveWire too.

You mentioned not wanting to go to a slower crystal to get 115K from the serial port. Would it have been a much slower crystal? Right now it looks like a bit banger connected mini DW server (something like a Raspberry Pi) is still the best bet... unless there is access to that SD slot too...
