Up until now I stayed out of this. Please review the archives of this and 
other CoCO mail list and you will see that this subjec has been hashed  over 
through and through. It ALWAYS ends with pissed off people, hurt feeling, and 
fewer member on the list. There are two camps on this issue, one says "The Law 
is the Law" and the other says "to hell wtih the law for the sake of 
preserving CoCo lacacy". They NEVER agree, they barely agree to disagree. So 
please lets end this right now, because Steve and the others will continue to 
exercise their rights and obligations to protect their code and the code of 
others. Nothing good will come from this.
