I know it; I used to drive right past it every day to/from work for a
couple of months. FWIW - and I hope you're aware of this - I wouldn't say
it's "on the strip"; technically it is the same road, but it's a fair hike
(i.e. drive) to the casinos. On the plus side, you're close to Texas De
Brazil (1.1mi - is Canada metric?), and the Las Vegas Premium Outlets (a
few hundred metres, which my wife assures me is a great place to shop -
for girly things at least).

Don't forget the Pinball Hall Of Fame with Gamer's Paradise South right
next door (retro video games) on East Tropicana Ave! I haven't been there
yet, but I have been to Paradise's 'North' store elsewhere in Vegas and it
was awesome!

If you've had enough dining in your resort, Wynn Casino is generally
regarded to have the best buffet; I wouldn't say any of the buffets offer
high class dining but it's one of the better ones. And a bus trip to
Fremont St one night is definitely worth it.

Have a good trip!

Regards,
