6845 is a dumb-ish CRT controller used in a lot of monochrome <=
80-column screens (terminals, Model III, Kaypro, etc) including at
least some of the coco 80-column paks.  

6850 is a UART that coco people usually only used for MIDI paks, not
sure why the 6551 was preferred for RS232.
