[Coco] Second Floppy

So get you a small ITX board and make a headless Linux unit that does nothing but run drivewire. It wouldn't be any bigger than your dual drive enclosure. Something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16856119058. You could probably build one or get a used one ready to go for not much more... depends on memory and HD. If you're like me you have a bit of "spare" pieces left over from upgrades that would work fine for a drivewire server... don't need much. DSL and Drivewire would be it...

I was trying to stick with real floppies for as long as possible..it just doesn't feel the same to me linking over a cable to a PC for storage...feel like I'm operating some sort of 'phantom' terminal..not coco'ish (a word?)
