[Coco] Coco 1/2 RF faint?

Since I’m posting here I’ll ask this as well – I notice with my Coco 1’s and 2’s that the text seems much fainter when I turn it on – ie I have to adjust the brightness and contrast to be able to read the text comfortably. The strange thing is that using carts everything appears as bright as on a composite Coco 3. Is this something to do with the inferior RF of a Coco 1 and 2 vs. the composite of coco 3?
