Stephen,
You know, I tried those disks and got the same results.... then I tried a couple of others I had, then I tried a direct copy of my own lv1 v2.00.00 dsk I copied not long ago... all the same results...

Then I felt really foolish after about an hour messing with these disks. I have gotten sooo used to all the boots I've created with cobbler for VCC that I was comepletely ignoring the fact that these disks you linked will never boot in VCC without the emulator drivers installed!!!! To boot ANY version of OS9 in VCC you MUST have EmuDsk & the drive descriptors for emudsk installed on the boot as all it will do with default drivers is try to load from a non-exsistant "real floppy" drive!

Hi,

I am trying to run OS-9 02.00.00 Cat. No. 700-2331 (Level_I) on VCC.

I have tried both the original and my personal last Level-I boot disks.

Both boot but when asked for the Date and Time no entry can be made with the
keyboard.

I have tried various configuration options and none including keyboard ones
make any difference.

OS-9 Level-II boots and works just fine.

What am I missing?
----------------------------------------

Second question, other than Jeff's CoCo 2 Emulator and perhaps his and
John's CoCo 3 emulators which ones will run OS-9 02.00.00 Cat. No. 700-2331
(Level_I)?

TIA

SHF
