Me too. Now that it's easy to telnet into CoCos (stock and fpga)
running OS9, I'd really like to work on some multiplayer text
adventure games. Maybe in the style of MUDs, or maybe something
unique. I had started work on a port of AberMUD but never really got
far. The C it's written in and the C that microware's compiler speaks
are seemingly worlds apart. I did make a port of Bedlam to perl, and
added multi player capabilities, but that won't run on OS9, in it's
present form at least. Taking classic text adventures and making
them multiplayer is interesting to me, it adds a new dimension to the
puzzles when you can work cooperatively (or competitively). Anyway,
not sure what direction to go, but I'll put some time in on a project
along these lines if anyone has one, or maybe decide what to do myself
someday.
