Two things that I like about Wal-Mart. They generally have enough, well
maintained, Amigo carts for those of us who can no longer walk all over
their 40 acres in relative comfort, my hip joints are about gone. This one
has about 8 of them all told, parked in the entryway ready to go. You can
even take them out to the car to unload and leave them in the cart corral,
but I usually take them back and limp back to the truck.

And they were the ones who started a list of scripts that are $4/month.
But my GP sawbones recently sent a metformin script to kroger, where it was
even cheaper, so I might move the other, lisonopril for high BP over there
too because wallie, once hooking me, is now charging 8 for the next
stronger dose.

But kroger, to cater to the older crowd like me, buys walmarts throw away
Amigo like gizmo's, keeping about 4 of them in circulation but they have no
maintenance program, and the same appearing little rider has its turning
radii restricted from the walmart version so you wind up ripping the end
cap display all over the floor trying to turn into or out of an aisle. I
used to feel bad about that. But management makes no measurements to make
sure even an overweight can get between some of their 'extra' displays. So
it is a shrug anymore.

I was out there last night, only 2 left, and neither of them would run. I
read the on duty manager the riot act while all the checkers whom I have
known some of for 23 years now, stood there enjoying the hell out of it
because they knew if they upset me, somebody was gonna wear a dressing. By
the same token, when its done right, they know I'll thank them just as
loud.

Sometimes its a game I play. But none of the other so-called grocery
stores even has anything better than a std wheelchair, so I am better off
just leaning on a regular mart cart.

One of those damned if I do, and damned if I don't things I think.
