The version I've been working on is based on termcap, so no, it
doesn't do the OS-9 native windowing.  

Worse, it's a subset, and only part of the windowing functionality is
actually there.  And what is there, mostly hasn't been tested,
esp. under 6x09.  I honestly don't know if scrolling multiple windows
would work correctly or not. :-(
