[Coco] Would anyone like some snow?

For once, Virginia has more snow than New York..... Only 8 inches?
My young son mentioned to me that the Snow Miser had taken over the
South....

Going back to word processors, now that we seem to have plenty of time
around the house (he's only been to school for part of a day this
month), I thought we'd get into word processing -- starting with the
basics. I've got Scripsit and VIP. He's familiar with the Coco, so
that's not too much of a jump, but after just a few hours with the
older word processors, he will probably get a good appreciation of the
newer ones (sort of like really appreciating integrated circuits after
trying to build current mirrors with "matched" transistors, or for
that matter, appreciating transistors after dinking with vacuum tube
oscillators).

Scripsit was my first word processor (the Model I/III version, not
Color Scripsit), and I still like it, but it seems a little clunky to
teach. My son seems to have difficulty with the WYSINWYG (What You
See Is Not What You Get) concept. I'd like him to learn that,
though. It seems to have helped me in my programming career....
