[Coco] I need copies of unmodified OS-9 disk images

Hi,

I was my understanding that the Pascal emulator HD disk image was all ready 
to go, nothing more needed.

Until you open it in an emulator you will not know what is contained.

But do not expect images of the original disks, as with the emulator 
containing the "C" compiler, there will be just folders they were copied 
into. As I did with my 80T 2S floppy disks.

The way I read his web page, Quick Pascal is just a "Make Easy" tool.

Looking at the links, the unique to his work ones are still good, the HD 
image and the "Quick Pascal Manual".

I once told him that the emulator disk he was offering had tons of his 
e-mail messages and web searches.

90 Mb, do you realize how oversized that is for any CoCo project.

I may have provided him with a tool to shrink the size of the emulator HD 
when zipped. He may not have used it.

I have not seen the original OS-9 Pascal disk anywhere. But again, it is my 
understanding that the HD disk image is all that is needed.

If you still need other disks, ask, there are lots of hidden places to look 
on RTSI that would take a long time. I did look for another emulator HD 
image for the second copy of "C", but did not find it.

I will reply with a tiff scan of the SHF76 page in my binder, the disk that 
has both "C" and Pascal. That will give you perhaps the listing of files on 
the "C" disk. But not the Pascal disk, it clearly has been modified.

ftp://www.rtsi.com/RSDOS/incoming/clang.zip looks like the "C" disks, but 
the second one looks like it was added to.

The original "C" compiler came on two disks, I just looked at my original 
disks. I am so used to 80T 2S disks that I forget how small the original 
disks were.

If CC_1/2 is the "C" compiler, please tell me so that I do send people into 
the emulator HD image for them.

You just did say that. I don't have the time just now to check all that you 
said.
