Unsaid, but those ratings are ICAS ratings, intermittent loads, particularly 
on the 12 volt bus since that is only loaded when the drive is running.  
Putting a hard drive in that box and it really needs a fan.  Almost any cpu 
cooler or old pc psu fan can help a lot, they are typically a .25 amp load on 
the 12 volt line.
