I had absolutely no luck with wget.  It was a few months ago, but IIRC it 
went into an endless loop at some point and I killed it.

I would love to get a DVD of that image at some point and would be glad to 
pay for the time, trouble and postage.  Or, can you host it somewhere 
yourself?
