You're right Bruce. I forgot about that when I wrote the program. That 
means the code won't work with DOS1.0 unless the *.BAS program (found on 
some game disks and OS-9) is used as a substitute for the DOS command.

Bill's problem is not related to that. For some reason, it won't compile 
with his version of EDTASM. It must be typos in what Bill entered but 
there is no way to see that in the message. All the formatting was lost 
in transmission.
