[Coco] Testing CoCo3 serial port.

Hi is there any way that I can verify that the serial port on my CoCo3 
is working correctly, I have it wired up to my PC via a 3 wire cable and 
am having problems getting it to work in drivewire (though DW works fine 
on my CoCo2 with the same cable).

So I'd preferably be looking for a non-drivewire way of verifying that 
my CoCo3 is ok.
