The other utility you have programmed (Backup magic) Is the differences only
that it is more automated?

look for "The Defeater".  it is excellent for just that application (i
know--i wrote it).  it is available as a public domain program.

if you don't know which track can't be copied, use the "find uncopyable
tracks" feature.
once you know what track you want to copy use "read a track" and "convert
track data".
     this will read the format of the track you want to copy and set up a
formatting image.
then use the "format a track" feature to format the track you wish to
copy.
next, use "read a sector" and "write a sector" to copy individual sectors
(using the track, side and sector data displayed in the "convert"
procedure.
    ***note*** if no sectors are displayed during conversion, then there
were no sectors and the track may be pure data and will probably work
without copying sectors.
