There is a C compiler that runs under OS-9. It comes complete with run-time
OS-9.

A LOT can be found on line.

They show up on eBay now and then. They don't seem to get very high priced
either.

Again eBay, they do however seem to still be worth something. There are a
few more out there that might be for sale, if and when you find them.

If he is learning computing, the P4 with LINUX and Open Office will do more
now, and probably set him up better for school. In the last 5 semesters of
college, I have not even fired up a CoCo, but I've typed a lot of papers. I
don't expect to use my CoCos for school next semester either. (Hopefully my
last semester.)
