Thanks for the kudos Carlos! Alfredo Santos wrote most of the first part, I just did a lot of editing and added a few items. I do mention Alfredo in the book, and that his original history (posted on the internet, probably still around somewhere) was used with editing. Still a few grammar/spelling errors that I should have caught when I edited the second time, I probably even added a few, but nothing that detracts from the contents of the book.

I'd only written that I personally never saw one of the satellite board upgrades, because I did know they existed. Didn't know the Aussie models were all upgraded that way though. I think I've seen one since the book came out, at one of the Chicago (or Atlanta) fests.... not sure now, but I seem to recall someone specifically bringing one over to my booth at a fest after reading the book. It's been 12 years since I've been to a fest though!

Guys, I'm reading the book on my Palm Treo, and it's so fascinating that I'm
really planning on not going to sleep today !

Okay, I have to work in the morning (1 am here in Brazil as I type this),
but I'll keep reading the book as the day goes by. The timeline on software
releases on the beginning of the book is awesome.

Carlos
