Rumor has it that coco at yourdvd.net may have mentioned these words:

See if your ROMMAX package understands how to talk to a Motorola MCM68766 
or MCM68764 chip - those are the 24-pin 8K pin-compatible EPROMS that were 
used in the early CoCos & disk controllers.

I have heaps of these critters if anyone's interested.
