Could be they are double sided 40 track images that were not filled out 
to the full 80 tracks. That could account for the unexpected size. 
Alternatively, the image may be a single sided .dmk type image which 
includes the system information as well as the sector data within the 
image. That would also account for the unexpected size.

If you post the source of the images, we will have a better chance of 
correctly guessing the nature of your problem. If you examine the images 
on your PC with a raw file editor, you can determine for yourself what 
type of image you have.

That the images don't boot could be a completely different issue. Have 
you examined the floppies using dcheck? Have you checked the OS9Boot 
file with Ident? Do you have any idea what is the target of Boot in the 
kernel on track 34? Is cc3go looking for /D0 as the default drive or 
something else like /H0? If cc3go is looking for /H0, is there a hard 
drive on your system and is there an appropriate driver in the OS9Boot file?
