Jim, way back when I had mine I remember using a plate of aluminum or
plastic (not sure now. It was rigid and had no give in it at all. Just
what you want. I woulnd't want to have to trust velcro. Tho, I guess if
you got the really heavy duty stuff, and epoxied the sticky sides to the
coco it would work.
