Would advise against using tap water as a final rinse; used demineralised  or 
distilled
water; rain water would be okay.  Main thing is that tap water likely  has 
dissolved
salts which will remain on the board after water evaporates and can cause  
shorts
and corrosion of metal contacts.  Again, hard water leaves deposits  which 
can also
remain semi-wet in humid conditions;  these deposits can be  corrosive.
