Thanks for the info Marty. I'm going to have it upgraded anyways just to be 
on the safe side (from Cloud9). I'd be interested to hear any more notes you 
have on the whole thing too :-)

I found my old articles on the Multipak.

I'll try to write a more cogent note in the next 24 hours.

But here's the bottom line:

(1) real hardware damage, while perhaps possible, I now judge as not very 
likely to result from hooking an UNupgraded MPak to a CoCo 3.   Glitches are 
more likely.

(2)  The upgrade for the new version, smaller Mpak is not that difficult. 
Uses a single 35 cent small scale 74 series logic chip.  I will provide 
details later.
