Rumor has it that Jim Cox may have mentioned these words:
>Now that I have one of Roy's adapters, I am wondering if I should keep the
>old monitors I rescued over the yeats. I have a both a RS monitor for the
>CoCo as well as one of the Comodore ones that can be used with a CoCo
>using a special cable.
>
>I also have a few others that are multi-synch. I think those will go to
>the recycling center first, but should I keep the RS monitor?

If by "multi-synch" you mean (for example) a NEC 2A type VGA monitor that
will sync down to NTSC frequencies, I'd *keep* that one over all others.
Them thar suckers are rarer than hens teeth, and wouldn't _need_ Roy's
adapter to work.

IMHO, if you have the right adapters, the I'd ditch the CM-8 first (.42dp)
the Commie secondary (weren't they .34-.37 dp?) and the multi-sync last
(assuming I understand you correctly) as they'd be about .28dp and should
give a bodacious picture on a CoCo; and could still be used on a lower-end PC.

>Also, isn't there another video adapter out there for the CoCo? Sorry, I
>haven't had time to scan all the posts lately.

Chris Hawks has an S-Video adapter either out, or very nearly out, so you
can run 80-columns on a good S-Video capable TV.
