Thanks to all who replied. Bob, I should have looked into the LM1881's
data sheet before, stupid me. I'm using the Gennum GS4982 and I think it
will work fine without the lowpass filter (well, at least I'll try it
first without), especially because my composite video signal is b&w (no
color). The 12V power is already cleaned so I think just a 0.1µF to
ground will do fine. Best regards, Torsten.
