Last saw a hard-sectored diskette when I was instructor at the RSCC in Las 
Vegas in 1981.  Bill Vergona (Cer-Comp) had bought a box of floppies at 
another store, and two or three of the ten were hard-sectored.

Yes, we played with one of them in a Model 3 drive.  The machine got very 
confused.
