One of the limitations of SCSISYS is the drives address, only scsi id's 0-3 
are supported, which also matched the hardware if the hardware was Tony 
D's 4n1 controller.  Many drives came with the id jumpers set at #6, and 
that will get you what you are apparently getting IIRC.
