This would be a project that the total cost of the electronic parts would almost be 
cheaper than a production PCB would costs. Electronic parts costs will  increase if 
you want one of the all  in one chips. Backup battery, RTC, crystal, and 512Kx8 
sram. 

I know that it could not be done for $20.
