In case anyone else is wondering about this, error 30 is a Write Protect
error,
I suspect that the Install disk is write protected, which it must not be.
The
installer progressively writes a log of its progress to the *source* disk
named
INSTALL.LOG.

Jarl, in my private reply, for some reason I read it wrong, but WP error is
still the important thing. Make sure the install disk is mounted non-write
protected. This should be safe since the original zip file is always there
in
original condition.

The reason for writing the log file to the source rather than the
destination
is that things are being logged long before the installer asks the user for
the
destination drive.

cheers everyone,
Bob
