Ok, Phill,
This might sound rather silly, but could you not take the CoCo3's power 
suply out and replace it with a Dragon's (after doing a bit of moding) or 
get a "Travel converter" from ebay, the coverters they sell here in North 
America for travelers to plug in thier laptops, hair dryers etc overseas, 
and use it for the CoCo?
