How has this device worked in tests?  I'm mainly interested in how crisp 
the video is and if artifacts are preserved.  It's no big deal if artifacts 
are not preserved since the main value of this device to me would be to be 
able to connect a real nice VGA monitor to the CoCo and get some video 
that's not too fuzy at 80 columns text.

You can get monitors by the armloads at most Goodwill stores these days.
