[Coco] [Color Computer] Emails with Ziff Davis (Color Computer Magazine)

It appears that Ziff Davis is not concerned regarding this publication, and
I am not going to pursue this any further.  
 
I am not planning on starting up a "Color Computer Magazine" archival
project while I am working on the Rainbow project, but it's good to know for
future possibilities.

I am writing to you to inquire about a TRS-80 Color Computer publication
that was published by Ziff Davis in the early 1980's by the name of "The
Color Computer Magazine" (ISSN 0736-9492).  There is a group of TRS-80 Color
Computer enthusiasts who are interested in digitally archiving the "Color
Computer" magazines by scanning them in and converting them into the .pdf
format, and we would like to inquire as to what would be necessary for us to
gain permission from IDG to be able to distribute the end product of this
work to the general public.  

 

Can you help us determine what is necessary to make this a reality, or point
us in the right direction?
