Dave, I am no expert when it comes to CoCo (i try), but this should be ok,
just get an old AT P/S to power the drives in the case. If you look around
you should be able to find a nice "mini" HD tower that just had 4 or 5 drive
bays and room for a P/S. you might have to take a dremal and cut a slot to
run the cale out for the controller.
I seem to remember a "project" page (by one of the form members, I think)
where they took an old tower case and stuck a CoCo, Multi-pack and Drives
into it. Obviouslt they had the PS/2 keyboard adapter to hook a regular
keyboard up to it. This might be a fun little project, for just a few hours
more than just doing the disk drives. I will see if I can dig up the link.
