According to TI specs it is a 512 by 8 bit TTL PROM.

Oldie goldie memory. Often they were used for lookup tables and
small amounts of data. They had remarkably fast access time.
Somewhere around 35nS to 90nS.

Motorola used the N82S series TTL proms, by the way there are at
least three on the COco3 prototype, to store code plug info or
channel information on radios like the Syntar and SyntarX.

The older TTL proms were also used often to store binary data for
programable dividers. You can also use t hem for n to x decoders.

The small low density proms had many usages. Sad that no one
wishes to manufacture such low density memory anymore.
