In case you are interested, there is a port of GTK Gnutella available 
for BeOS 5.  I used to use that quite often when I had broadband, and it 
worked well.  The catch is that you need to install the BeOS port of X 
first, as well as a window manager and such (I would recommend the BeOS 
port of Blackbox), and also I think you have to have BONE for BeOS 
installed as well.  If you decide to try it, feel free to contact me off
