I wonder why a single apostrophe generates THREE chars -- French
a-circumflex, Euro-sign, and TM? Actually, it appears that Euro and TM are separate
codes here.
FWIW, "TM" seems to be a "second-rate" or "US-only" char, as judged by the
fact that my Linux distro's version of version of Netscape doesn't recognize the
HTML code word for it (AMP-trade-COLON).
