[Coco] off topic but Tandy-related

There is one emulator called Tand-em, but it will not work under any flavor
of Windows (even 3.1). It requires DOS only, and this really isn't
practical for me. I have contacted the author to see if any updates are
planned, and he told me he will be upgrading it to work on more modern OSs,
but not for at least a year.

There is another more general emulator called DOSBox, located at
http://dosbox.sourceforge.net. It actually emulates DOS under XP (or really
any common OS), and allows for emulating both sound and graphics. This
means, for instance, that you could run old DOS games that directly
manipulate the sound card for sound and actually hear something. DOSBox is
supposed to emulate both Tandy graphics and sound, but I've never quite
gotten it to work correctly.

Then there is MESS, but it's another emulator I've never gotten to work
right. It's supposed to emulate an HX, but even the doc file says it needs
a new rom dump. So nothing has been done with it for awhile.

reading that the Tandy 1000 was a PC Jr. clone. Maybe a PC Jr. emulator
would run your software?
