You can create whatis called a System on a CHip or SOC. By doing that you can 
memory map the MMU inside the processor. 

Another method is to extend the address buss internal and increase the PC. 
Stacking the extra high nibble or byte will need to be done and any assembler 
software needs to be rewritten.
