Radio Jackers Tell B.K. Customers They're Too Fat.
But it's Flame Broiled! - Here's a crime oddity for you.

Police in Troy, Michigan, are investigating the radio frequency highjacking
of a Burger King drive-thru speaker system.

ClickOnDetroit.com, a local TV news channel, reports:

Police believe one or two young men, possibly teenagers, are responsible for
issuing obscenities and insults to customers at a Troy Burger King
drive-through window.
"You don't need a couple of Whoppers. You are too fat. Pull ahead," Officer
Gerry Scherlink said is an example of what the hackers are telling customers
at the drive-through speaker.

The franchise owner issued an apology to customers and managers are trying
to change the radio frequencies that the system uses.

Of course I'm not certain what good changing the frequency will do. I would
think that if the jackers had the tech to find the original frequency in the
first place they could find the new in the same manner.

What they need is a Geordi La Forge. I bet he could make the frequency
secure. Well, either him or drop the radio frequency all together and run
cable.

If it's good enough for ancient druids
running nekkid through the wuids
drinking strange fermented fluids
then it's good enough for me
