Why don't a bunch of you left coasties get together and go to a travel
agent. Ask them to find you a group plan for $99 or so round trip. Work out
a group rate.

I once went from Houston to Portland for $99. Left at 2:30 in the morning.
Got to Las Vegas and transferred to a plane to Portland.  That all that
airline did was fly people to LV.
