Wow, thanks. Maybe even faster with the 4MHZ
mod running :-).

I finally got my 64mb board working again.
(When this all started, I cut out a piece of
a PC motherboard to get the 4 simms already
soldered (to something). Hacked up those runs
and wired up what I wanted.)
I had attached that SIMM "module" to a piece
of holey board with hot-melt glue. It got
soft with the heat of 4 SIMMS and sagged
then detached breaking several wires. Upon
soldering one of them back, I "accidently"
tied an address line to one of the data lines.
That's a no-no. It now boots and will be tested
shortly (maybe Saturday). Whew! Remember, I'm
doing this with one good eye since my left
eye has a cataract, it'll be gone Monday.

Yes, I want to fill'er up and see how long
it takes.

 "old slower" DIMMS (not SIMMS) for memory?
