Did you download the latest build, 1.57 ?  If so, I take it my fixes didn't 
help anything on your system.

I wish I could tell you if this is happening with others but to be honest, 
nobody reports problems anymore.  When there's no negative feedback, I 
assume things are working great for everybody.  But when there's no 
feedback, I have no way of knowing anything.  I'll try my best to install 
the IDE onto my 98SE laptop and see if I experience the same problem(s) as 
you are having.  I'll also go through the code again for handling the 
drop-down list for the emulator system of choice and study it longer.

PLEASE let me know tonight (if you can) if ANY other drop-down lists in the 
left panel are doing the same thing... (not accepting changes).  This will 
really help me isolate the problem.
