Kevin,

Most things that are worth having, are worth working for.

Do you think what we do here at Cloud-9 comes easy or works the first time?
We do a ton of research then turn to the blood, sweat and tears portion of
the design. Worth while? For me, with out question. I have a two year
degree and I'm held in the highest regards at work among the hardware
Electrical Engineers. Back in '94 I left my job there because the company
didn't recognize that I was performing at an EE level. They since have
re-thought this out since they had many two year degreed people leave with
system experience that couldn't be replaced with a four degree, years of
OJT. I'm not an Electrical Engineer, by name but I'm paid as one. If I had
chance to do it all over again, I would go to college and get my degree.
Now I have a problem going back and getting it because I would rather spend
my time doing fun things, like working with the CoCo rather than learning
Linear Math, basket weaving or what ever......

I can say for a fact that I'm where I'm at today because of the CoCo.
People can laugh that it is a toy or people still use that computer? You
design to that computer? I'm the one laughing, it is all about concepts.
Concepts on the CoCo apply to the big computers today, just in a smaller
dimension. Which takes us to the Twilight Zone......... :)

Regards,

Mark
