[Coco] [Coco OT] -- Is this a scam?

I would have to say it's some kind of s[pc]am. It's very unusual to
receive a message from the USPS about a package they are planning to
ship rather than a package they are about to deliver. I do know that I
have received messages concerning packages that are about to be
delivered but never about to be shipped.

I would also look closely at the unformatted content of the e-mail to
determine if there is a hidden character in front of www.usps.com hiding
a different less honest url. This is a common trick with some spammers
and virus' that get sent out as they try to conceal the actual location
you are being sent to. Usually it's be:

www.somepornsite.com!www.usps.com/blahblahblah where ! is a non-printing
character.
