In college we worked wonders with tiny strands of 30-gauge wire.  At sunrise, 
the horizontal rays of the sun would light up the dorm quadrangle's tangle of 
spider web strands, but 15 minutes later they were invisible!  Don't know 
that any one tried transmitting.

Don't know what a homeowners' association could/would do to you if they 
discovered your invisible antennas -- maybe confiscate your George Foreman propane 
grill?
