Dear Nick,

We really don't need a central place. We need more places and activity,
showing that all of us are still CoCoNuts, NOT just one person.
Correct me if I'm wrong. :)

Because the data contribution towards a central website is low, it is quite
hard to maintain such a website. And because other large web sites have
vanished, doesn't mean we have given up, or that there is nowhere else to
go for fresh links or product information. Things change. Looks
change. Ideas change. Life changes.

A single person can research and work his ass off for over 3 years
gathering up everything he can that is "up-to-date" while CoCo users are
falling out like flies and selling off their entire systems, etc., and what
you get is something to the scale of CoCo3.com, which isn't much, but my
efforts put into the site have been tremendous for one person who has
BEGGED others to supply current links, e-mail addresses, product info, and
banners. And my experience has shown that CoCo users will help in any way
they can if you bug'em a few times. :)

I have also received many recent e-mails through the site from *lost* CoCo
users who we took for granted did not exist. So, no... not all dead CoCos
are up in Grandma's attic. That's a result I didn't need a survey to
figure out.

I also feel that with over 1,500 hits a month, the site deserves to contain
what you feel like a CoCo site needs to have, based on your results.

Any suggestions? I'm a hard worker, you know. Ofcourse, looking at
Portal-9, we would have never guessed that. :)

sincerely,
hope your survey gathered some useful stats,

Happy Holidays,

Roger Taylor
