They list several ways to upload; the quickest/easier was using ssh and SCF
under Cygwin.
Since I already had Cygwin on my PC, I hope to work on some project that
could be ported to Linux. Most things that work under Cygwin can be ported
to Linux.

SCF I think it means SeCure File Transfer Protocal (FTP)
SSH means Secure Shell

I uploaded the web page with SCF and used SSH to CHMOD (change mode) of file
to allow users of http to read the file.
I could have not put up a web site, but I think it shows that you plan to do
something on sf.net if you put up a web page.

I know how to download using CVS so it should not be to hard to upload.

But, first I have to write something to be uploaded.

I figure I will create a link page of sites I might get info from or use to
create the 6809 emulator.

I am so busy at work, I have no idea when I will get time to do it.

The cool acryonyms.

CVS. :) I really am an anti-acronym type of person, mainly because they are
born overnight, become an instant hit, and if you don't know what they mean
before John Doe does, you're the dummy.

I hope you don't get thrown off your project by having to learn CVS, SSH,
and SCF?

Are all of these requirements to use sourceforge?
